The brief

Review and strengthen an existing CLP to address the planning condition, site constraints and council comments, including removal of reliance on off-site vehicle holding.

A self-contained delivery strategy

CLC restructured the document around booked delivery slots and call-forward controls. Vehicles would attend only when the internal loading area was available, with no proposed highway waiting or off-site construction vehicle parking.

Vehicle access and routing

A route plan connected the site to the suitable A-road network. Swept path analysis tested entry and exit for a 16.48m articulated vehicle, considering gate geometry, wheel paths, body swing and the internal loading area.

Outputs and outcome

The revised CLP brought the routing, tracking and delivery arrangements into a coordinated submission. The planning condition was approved, with the council confirming that the CLC-prepared CLP was acceptable.
